Saiful or is it SaiFOOL who swore on the Quran?

Malaysiakini report: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan appeared in public today to swear on the Quran and denied he had consented to the alleged anal intercourse with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Does anyone realised that this action of swearing is really stupid? Nothing to do with the Quran. But the mere action of swearing, whether on the Quran, on the Bible, on your mother’s grave and etc.

Swearing does not in anyway demonstate whether a person is guilty or innocent.

I mean, what is there to gain? Just consider the few posibilities:

1. If you are indeed innocent and you swore on the Quran (or anything else), BUT IF all the forensic evidences, all the witnesses, all the circumstancial environment POINTS TO YOU being guilty, you will still be known as guilty in the eyes of the law and certainly in the eyes of most people.

So what if you swore that you are innocent? If you are effectively framed, no swearing is gonna sets you free.

2. What if you are REALLY GUILTY and you swore that you are not? What does it really matter? IF all the forensic evidences, all the witnesses, all the circumstancial environment POINTS TO YOU being guilty, you will still be guilty in the eyes of the law and certainly in the eyes of most people.

No swearing is gonna make you innocent.

The court will not just ignore all evidences on the case just because you have sworn your innocence. And the intelligent people of Malaysia or anywhere in the world will not believe you if your are truly proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt in a just trail.

And Saiful, if the Police dare not charge Anwar for raping you, what hope of evidence are there for you to proof your case?

And I really hope Anwar is not so stupid as to go and swear on anything.

And I thought our former Minister of “Mis”Information, Zainuddin Maidin was stupid…

Our Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar, shows us that man cannot exceed their stupidity.

Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is not being charged because he is the key witness in the sodomy case against PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.

He said that in a criminal justice system, when a person comes forward to report on a matter, the person would be protected.

“Usually, the victim is given protection,” Syed Hamid said after the MoU signing ceremony between Malaysian and Australian Governments on immigration cooperation here yesterday.

The story.
Anwar Ibrahim, was charged with having committed sodomy with Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan under Section 377B of the Penal Code. In Malaysia law, even between consenting adult is a crime.

According to Rocky, the Police Report made against Anwar by Saiful read like this:
“Saya Mohd Saiful Bukhari b Azlan ingin melaporkan bahawa saya telah diliwat oleh majikan saya. Perkara ini berlaku tanpa kerelaan saya.

“tanpa kerelaan saya” means “without my consent”.

That would mean that Saiful was raped. So why was Anwar not charge under section 377C which reads “committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent”.

And since Anwar was charged under Section 377B of the Penal Code, which imply consent, WHY WAS SAIFUL NOT CHARGED? Our Home Minister explanation is ridiculous. He said that the one who came to make the police report must be protected. The victim must be protected.

Since Anwar was not charged with raped, how can Saiful be a victim? And Just because a person come a make a report, they are not to be charged? Does that means that if I, together with another person murdered somebody, and I quickly go and make a police report, then I am to be protected and the other person charged? Wow, that’s how you can get away with murder, issit???

What kind of Home Minister is this man? Talk as if everyone is stupid. On a whim, put road-blocks all over KL, causing mega-jam, burning tonnes of fuel that we pay with super-high price. Please… someone… HELP!

RPK “Sai Lang” Najib

“Sai Lang” = Going for broke.

“Sai lang” is the word they commonly used when they bet everything in a round of poker. Usually seen in HongKong chinese movie on the gambling genre.

Is RPK bluffing? Raja Petra Kamarudin claimed to have spoken with a friend of Saiful during his visit to see Najib. This confession is allege to have been video-taped. And you don’t expect RPK to do a “Bala-reversal” do you?

Our Malaysia politic scenarios are more suspensful than any TV series. Scarier than any Stephen King’s novels. More kencang than The Lord of the Rings and Matrix add together.

Help! I need somebody.. Help!

Update: 15th July 2008

Firstly I want to thank all my friends, my church and blog readers who had help me out in monetary assistance. Currently, enough funds has been accumulated to weather through the hospital and surgical fees. Thank you all for prayers too. I’m deeply touched. God has blessed me with many friends. 

My father is still in hospital. The operations were considered successful even though there is not much evidence in the improvement of motor functions. At least the thigh/hip area is healing. There is currently no indication that he can walk again. We hope physio-therapy will help him regain some movement, but at least he is not in pain from the fracture. 

Current bill came up to around RM20K (last sunday). He will still need to stay in hospital for a while.

I will update more in future.

I’m really having trouble putting up this post. But I’m getting desperate.

My father was admited to the hospital few days ago. He was diagnosed with a rare form of brain disease call vascular dementia. He has great difficulties in walking and is incontinent. He fell recently. At first we did not think it was serious. Slight pain has gradually increased to a point where any movement on the left thigh caused great pain to the groin. Everything was deteriorating fast.

Sent him to hospital on Tuesday. Scans shows the brain is accumulating excessive water and exerting great pressure to the brain. Doctor says that there is 70% an impending major stroke will strike.  The joint between the thigh and the hip was actually broken. Operation seems to be the only option. One to the brain to insert a tube to release the excessive water and pressure. Another to replace the joint at the hip.

The cost is estimated at around RM 25,000.00 including hospital fees.

It caught my family with great surprise. Medication and treatment for his existing condition and diabetics has used up most of the money.

At this point I am appealing for monetary donation. I am already in serious deficit. If anyone can assist in any amount, I greatly appreciate.

ANWAR PRESS STATEMENT

June 29, 2008, Shah Alam

THE police report lodged against me earlier today is a complete fabrication. I believe we are witnessing a repeat of the methods used against me in 1998 when false allegations were made under duress. This is clearly a desperate attempt by the Barisan Nasional regime to arrest the movement of the Malaysian people towards freedom, democracy and justice.

The report has been organised by interested parties to attack me in retaliation for evidence I have recently obtained implicating IGP Musa Hassan and the AG Gani Patail in misconduct including fabrication of evidence in the cases launched against me in 1998-1999. This vile attack will not prevent me from releasing this dossier to the public.

I urge the Malaysian people to stand against the repressive forces that will be unleashed by the government in the coming days and weeks. We expect the media, the judiciary and the police force to all come under the direct and unchecked control of the executive.

My fellow Malaysians – we took a bold step forward on March 8th towards a new dawn for freedom and justice for all of our citizens. This people’s movement for change must go on with all of our strength and conviction.

What does our Prime Minister, Abdullah Badawi has to say about it?

“What Anwar has said is not for us to decide. He will surely deny. Normally, it’s like that. The accused will normally deny the allegation,” says Abdullah Badawi.

Wow, one cannot help but to admire his power of observation. So the accused will normally deny the allegation eh.

Let’s consider a few interesting allegations.

First
Anwar says, “This is clearly a desperate attempt by the Barisan Nasional regime to arrest the movement of the Malaysian people towards freedom, democracy and justice.”

Abdullah says, “Umno has no intention to disturb him in this way. BN also does not intend to give him problems, to disturb him, create problems like this or to do something bad to him.

“There is no intention like this…it never crossed my mind at all to betray him. I and my friends, Datuk (Seri) Najib (Tun Razak) also harboured no such intentions. The person concerned wants to lodge a report, what can we do, what else. He has the right to lodge a report. We cannot stop him from doing so. “We don’t have any plan to do something to him (Anwar) because he said he has made a political comeback,”

Second:
RPK says, “I have further been reliably informed that Prime Minister, Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has received a written report from the Military Intelligence confirming what I have revealed above and that the report was subsequently handed over to his son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin, for safe-keeping.”

Abdullah says, “No… I do not remember receiving anything and am confident that I did not receive anything. Nothing was sent to me.”

Hmmm.. so the accused always deny the allegations eh.

Mother of all bombshells and father of all farts..

If you have not heard.. the mother of all bombs in June 2008 is surely the incredible statutory declaration by Raja Petra Kamarudin. He claimed that he was “reliably informed” of the 3 persons who were present at the crime scene of Altantuya Shaariibuu’s murder. Read the full article here.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the three individuals named in the document filed on June 18 would also be called up.

(Comments: also gives the impression that calling up the THREE is secondary and that hauling up the informer is primary)

He also said that Raja Petra must be “brave enough to face the consequences if he is bold enough” to make the allegations.

After that.. Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail said the allegations were “highly defamatory” and if found untrue, those making the allegations would have to face the consequences.

Are the Inspector-General of Police and the Attorney-General more interested in intimidating RPK, or are they more interested in finding the truth about the murder? I leave that to you, discerning readers.

Fuel / Petrol Price To increase Again…

HELLLLLLLLPPPPPP… The “prophet” has spoken again….

“… the Government realised that the rakyat is still trying to adapt to the higher petrol prices. The Cabinet has thus decided there will be no more increase this year,” he told reporters at his office yesterday.

Wait a minute, apa ini… Badawi kata “Harga minyak tidak akan naik lagi untuk tahun ini LAH”

But then… Badawi always spoke OPPOSITE to reality. Maybe while the cabinet decides that fuel prices must go up again, he fell asleep, AGAIN.

Patrick put it nicely.

No. I am not getting married. Boom! He gets married.
No. I will not dissolve Parliament. Boom! He dissolves Parliament the very next day.
No. There will be no fuel price increase (the first time last week). Boom! RM2.70 per litre the next day.

Let’s see if his track record holds.

We’ve been had… again!

Badawi must have been doing a great job. He must have raised our standards of living almost on par with the US. Badawi always told us that US is paying much higher and we are paying so much lower. Let’s see how much “lower” are we really paying.

Malaysia = RM2.70 per litre.
USA = RM3.50 per litre.

So, should we be happy and contented that we pay 80cents cheaper?

Unfortunately what Badawi failed to mentioned is that the average American earning/purchasing power is approx. 3 times compare to us.

If I earn RM 3000, the American earns (or have power to purchase) up to RM 9000 in Malaysia.
Well, if I’m are earning RM 9000… then I can more than afford to pay RM 3.5o per litre.
