Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar – at it again
After deciding to ban HINDRAF, he attempted to justify the ban by (again) giving child-like excuses.
Excerpts from Malaysiakini:
“The government’s priority is to protect the security of Malaysians,” he was quoted as saying by Bernama.
Hmm… by “the security of Malaysians”, he meant “the corrupted BN government”.
The home minister reiterated that Hindraf activities had consistently broken laws, and their illegal demonstrations turned violent and incited racial hatred.
It’s true the HINDRAF consistently broke the law regarding their rights to gather.
And it is true that during their demo, they always received violence when the police rained down on them tear gas and chemical water.
On the open house visit, he said: “They disseminated messages that could cause racial and religious tension. They created fear among the people. They even threatened people’s lives.”
Fear??? Anyone of you were threatened by HINDRAF? Did you feel that you lives is in danger?
Well, the only fear I felt was that the Government can put me under ISA anytime they like. Or I worry for my life if I say anything that piss off some BIG Shot… I worry about getting C4′ed.
“Although the government is willing to listen to the people’s grievances and even utterances of unpleasant words, it cannot tolerate groups that propagate extremism and stir up racial and religious tension.”
Yeah, yeah… unless that guy is from UMNO.
I’m sick of this guy.

Dear Sir,
you wrote :

What abt the ridiculous, ludricous, malicious claims by Hindraf in the memorandum to the Queen and the ex-website “policewatch”
The ban is justified.
You call yourself a true malaysian?
Just because someone said something ridiculous, ludicrous and malicious, therefore they should be banned?
Then why Utusan is not banned? The Home Minister himself has said the ridiculous, ludicrous and malicious too. Should he be banned too? What about all the ridiculous, ludicrous and malicious talk by various BN Government officers, should the whole BN be banned?
The issue here is we speak out against Utusan and also the govt when they are in the wrong. Remember the uproar over the keris issue. It was justified to raise our voices against such issues. In the same way, why is no one speaking out against Hindraf for their malicious and seditious statements and their act of treason. Why are they being given the upper hand ???
Voli Dublino thinks you are right!
