V has a message for us all…

For those of us who has watch “V” would have realised how similar is the storyline to what our country is experiencing. Here are part of the scripts that I would like to share with all my fellow Malaysian, with a little modifications to suit our current circumstances.

V says…
The BN Gomen suggest that the target should not be an enemy of the country,
but the country itself. The target should be the People.
They launches a special project in the name of national security.
The true goal of this project is power.
Complete and total hegemonic domination.

BN Gomen says…
What we need right now is a clear message to the people of this country.
This message must be read on every newspaper,
heard on every radio and
seen on every television.
This message must resound throughout the entire Interne.
We want this country to realize that we stand on the edge of oblivion.
We want every man, woman and child to know how close we are to chaos.
We want everyone to remember WHY THEY FEAR US.

V says…
Words will always retain their power.
Words offer the means to meaning and
for those who will listen, the enaunciation of truth.
And the truth is…
There is something terribly wrong with this country.
Cruelty and injustice, intolerence and oppression.
And where once you had the freedom to object,
to think and speak as you saw fit,
you now have ISA,
coercing your conformity, soliciting submission.
How did this happen? Who’s to blame.
Certainly there are those who are more responsible than others.
But again, truth be told if you are looking for the guilty,
you need only look into a mirror.
I know why you kept your silence.
I know you were afraid.
Who wouldn’t be.
Unjustified detentions, without trial or defence. ISA!
There were a myriad of problems which conspired
to corrupt your reason and rob you of your commom sense.
Fairness, justice and freedom are more than words.
They are perspectives.
So, if you’ve seen nothing,
if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you,
then I would suggest that you let the 16th September
to pass unmarked.
But if you see what I see,
if you feel as I feel,
and if you would seek as I seek,
then I would ask you to stand beside me,
a few days from now,
on the 15th Sept, 8pm Kelana Jaya Stadium.
And together we shall give them a 15th of Sept that
they shall never ever be forgotten.
